The lack of progress bar dueing the update is really frustrating... You cannot tell whether the process just stuck or the system does something useful... 😞

So I have forced the update. I now have a blue screen asking me to press 7 and 9 together. I am doing this, but nothing is happening ! Help

Also find the picture is quite poor when off centre on the other couch - somehting that the 42" ordinary LCD LG tv didnt suffer from.

Just had glass update and now I'm being asked to visit an activation website and it's provided a code to enter.

@MDL6  hold down the power button on the side of the tv, keep holding it down, whilst you unplug the tv, keep holding down, whilst putting the plug back in. Two person job unless you are 7ft 7 with the wingspan of an eagle

Sounds like you did a full reset, so I would follow the instructions on screen and visit the webite and put in the code.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

To force the update you power off using the remote and keep the button held down. You then unplug it from the wall and then re plug it it still whilst holding the power button on the remote. When the sky puck/glass standby light starts blinking let go of the power button on the remote.
