Sky need to come clean and accept they have screwed something up.

As for that LGuser fella on here who is saying you can't blame sky, he must be on their pay roll.

Hi.  My download issue has been addressed.  Guided by Sky Agent.  Cause of problem:  sync issue between Q Box and BT Router.  Solution: 1) upgrade software on WBox; 2) Settings, Setup, Advance Settings; edit DNS a) DNS 4 boxes and entered 1 in eac box 3) cold start of Qbox; 4) verified DNS changes remain; 5) tested download and it worked.  Please note the SKY instructions on website only partially covered above otherwise we could have sorted it out.  Freddie

This is happening to me. Sky channels will not download but other channels will. Seems to be happening a lot.

I'm gonna throw my two pence worth in here.. this is def a Sky issue. Given the number of people all experiencing the same issue, different broadband providers and you can record live TV and download from BBC and ITV catch up. Everything points to Sky. We called them earlier and have an engineer coming out in a few days. I initially thought changing the box would fix it, but given how many have experienced the same, seems there's a smoking gun somewhere!

Same issues as everyone else, failed, reset, ugrade all the suggestions failed.

But

Changed format from from UHD to SD and this worked for Landscappers. - sucess

Changed UHD to HD  - failed.

Changed UHD to SD again and - sucess

A sky issues with bandwidth? I ask the question if I am paying for a service that I cannot watch I would like a discount as this issues has been an issue for the last week+

I changed DNS TO 8.8.8.8 and it seems to have done the trick. One of the programmes we couldn't download has now downloaded. Not tried anything else yet. Thanks for this info

I changed my DNS settings and now can't get any recording, hopefully they'll fix this soon. Will be calling them tomorrow, haven't got spare 2 hours to just get annoyed with 'Customer Service' tonight!!
