SkyQ Download Failed Item Unavailable

The work around for this is this. 
settings - advanced - IP settings - DNS- change settings to 8.8.8.8. Sky told me this morning. It's now fine

Nope, still can't quote, even on landscape on my iPhone the 3 dots/lines thing won't work.

@Artieboy23  Unfortunately that's only a temporary fix. Lots of us have tried it. It will work briefly but then revert to failing downloads again.

@Artieboy23 tried changing the DNS to 8.8.8.8 but still get download error - Sky should be sorting this issue out

Superusers are not Sky staff, all it really means is that we have posted a lot.

Exactly the same issue here. Anyone got a solution? Last time I had an issue, after being  on hold for an hour. Sky blamed BT and said there was nothing they could, do I can't face it again. 
Thinking of going to cable as I'm out of contract. Thoughts on that appreciated as an alternative to the solution!

Oh come on Sky. It's really starting to annoy me now. Taken me a week to watch 2 episodes of Succession! Can't download the next episode.

Same problem failing to download - "Failed, Remote network problwem" Have changed DNS as suggested that allowed one download to work then back, to the error.
