Sky sports paused over covid 19 !

I wonder if sky would be willing to be as loyal as us paying customers of sky sports to sign a contract to pause the monthly fee the same amount of months we did not receive sports march 17th onwards ?

Surely the paused rule they inforced was very good of them, but I beg the question if they would do the same next football season as sky wouldn't be happy if we paused our payments all year.

If you are talking about when there was no live sport last year then like everybody else you did have the option of pausing to pay or Sky Sports so if you didn't do this then you are to late now as this is no longer an option as Sky will not now back date it.

To be honest. Sky Movies has been so lacklustre over the last few months that I wish this could be paused. I know that Hollywood has been in lockdown and films are being held back for when cinemas are open again, I would hardly call many of  the latest 'Premiers' as blockbusters. They are dressed up TV movies or direct to vIdeo products. Theywouldn't get a look in at multiplex in normal times. If I wasn't locked into my contract I would cancel.

You could always cancel your Sky Movies subscription...

In fairness to Sky Cinema, how many 'blockbusters' are released each year? Between the Studios, a blockbuster is very limited and usually targeted to key release times throughout a calendar year.

To ensure they maintain their 'new premiere every day' tagline, lots of content has to be things like direct-to-video releases etc.

I have actually removed Sky Cinema from my package because of the Covid/cinema release schedule. There is nothing of real note coming up in the immediate future to justify me keeping it. I appreciate that I wasn't in a contract for Sky Cinema and have the luxury of turning it off.

Mid contract so can't cancel. I leveraged a good deal when I became out of contract with my broadband and TV. If I was out of contract and paying full whack, the movies would have gone long ago.
