Sky+ signal poor

Hi. If the sky+ box is failing does that make the signal poor, or is it separate issues?

A poor sugnal is mostly due to a dish issue

Think it could be cable or triax link related, but I've been getting technical faults on the recordings and having to rebuild, so wondered if that could be related.

Try a planner rebuild, Instructions can be found in my FAQ (Q02)

If you get the error message diskless mode then the explanation can be found in my FAQ (Q14) also

Note: This procedure will resolve many non-planner related issues as it does a safe reboot of the Sky box

Is this the rebuild where you lose the recordings, or the smaller rebuild?

Done this a few times, and it does reset without the disk less message, but doesn't seem to improve the signal. I can't get Dave, Comedy channel as signal 1 is empty and unlocked on those, but better on BBC and Sky Sports etc. I've tried moving and changing the RF cables on the triax link, which sometimes improves it for a while.

You'll need to call someone out to check your setup as it sounds like a dish alignment issue
