Sky q mini won’t play recordings

Sky q mini won't play recording,  saying can't play on this device, it will play on main box but not on mini box. The mini box works ok apart from this issue

Mini boxes can't play UHD. Is it UHD content?

Also, some subscriptions, like BT Sport when you pay for it via BT, require an additional second box subscription.

In many instances, especially in bedrooms, mini boxes are connected to smaller TV's where you wouldn't notice the difference between UHD and HD anyway. So downloading the HD version too for mini box viewing is just as good. And if connected to a larger TV, they tend to be so good these days at upscaling that you'd be hard pushed to notice any difference anyway, especially with the less than market-leading quality of Sky's UHD...
