I am a Sky VIP Diamond customer, I have tried to order Sky glass, but have been blocked from doing so, why? because I made a formal complaint a few years ago .
I had a text chat yesterday, Sunday 9th and I was told because I had not retracted the complaint I could not place an order.
I sent an email to the priority team apologising to Sky and retracted the complaint, what a surprise nothing.
They are being chilidish, I along with everyone else are well within our rights to make a complaint, they cannot accept that they do things wrong.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreIf, as it appears, this all hinges on your previous complaint, what were you complaining about? How many complaints have you raised?

I tried to order Sky glass when I first received a code to do so in October 2021, I was prevented from doing so and have been ever since.
This is before I made ONE COMPLAINT, about the fact that I was being prevented frtom ordering Sky glass.

Was your Sky Glass order cancelled/prevented because you failed the credit check?

Odd. Did you receive the code from Sky? What prevented you from ordering in 2021? What's the full story behind this?

Equally, they are well within their rights not to offer you a subscription to their services if they see fit.

Can someone else place the order and become the account holder for you?

Not an ideal route to take imo, as whoever did so would be legally responsible for the account and financial agreement repayments if the unit was purchased on finance
further billing and delivery addresses would have to be the same (any use of subscription services outside of the registered address would be a breach of contract), there is also the fact sky won't allow a new tv account to be setup if there is already setup at same address
