Sky Ultrafast Fibre Install
OK I am upgrading from Sky Superfast to Ultrafast in the hopes that Sky Glass will work UHD across the house with the new Pucks. I am hoping that the install of the new socket and router would mean the oppprtunity for some cabling to be done by the engineers if the Sky Glass system still cant stream UHD?

Openreach will install the ONT and connect to your router, if you want things cabling beyond the router you would need to do that.

Re: Sky Ultrafast Fibre Install
For full fibre fttp openreach are limited as to where they duct in the fibre and position the openreach ont modem. Assuming they duct it in where the existing copper enters then they will place the ont within 10ft of the entry point and 3ft of the nearest wall socket

Openreach certainly will not do that: their responsibility ends at the ONT. There's no indication Sky will cable to solve Glass issues: unlike with Q they aren't obliged to even consider doing so, and the couriers (not engineers) who deliver Glass won't even wait long enough to switch it on. It's important to understand that Glass is not the integrated distribution system that Q is, and if a subscriber chooses to try to use a Glass device outside the effective wireless range for the resolution they wish to achieve, that's their problem to resolve, not Sky.

Slight correction: it appears they are now doing so in order to look for panel damage inflicted in transit.
