Sky Store app will not let me sign in or play film

I have noticed that the Sky Store app will not let me sign in to my account. I have also just bought a film to watch on my tablet as I am not with Sky, but when I press pkay through the store website, it takes me to the app and still won't let me sign in. It says something about "Connection issues" and to "Please try again later".

 

I've had this problem for the last few days now and it's annoying that it's playing up so much. I am able to watch it on my phone (Which of course, encourages me to strain my eyes), but I don't see what the problem is.

 

The Sky Store app is still compatible with my device as I have uninstalled it and then re-installed it, but still have the same problem

What about deleting the app again, disabling the Wifi on your device then rebooting it, enabling it again and then turn wifi back on before installing the app again.

@caesarome thanks for the advice, but it still isn't working. The full message is "Can't connect to Sky Store", "There is a problem at the moment. Please check your network connection and try again"

 

I've got a full connection to my home wifi, so really don't know what's wrong with it
