Sky Sports Rugby League Twitter Account - Blocked!

As you will see from my Profile, Rugby League has been my life since a youngster, soon it was not a teddy bear in bed, but a rugby ball I took to bed with me! SKY SPORTS have really supported Rugby League well over the years. I was disappointed when I moved that my new apartment did not allow satellite dishes, but it was great to find Now TV, and I have since taken Sky Sports & Sky Entertainment.

As anyone involved closely with any sport, you enjoy the social media aspect, and of course Twitter, after supporting SKY and watching Super League since, I soon followed Sky Sports Rugby League on Twitter, as I love all social media, yes I did make some comments,  I would never say anything offensive, or use bad language, in fact I have never sworn in my life!  What a shock it was last year to be BLOCKED on Twitter by Sky Sports Rugby League, I could not believe it? those involved in the sport, who knew me so well, felt the same. I have tried since then to find out why? but without success, who would make a decision like that? and why? to a long term Sky user. As I've got older it has upset me in some ways, and when others talk about it with me, with the current COVID and my age now, I have spent a lot of time at home and I miss Sky Sports Rugby League, I have tried Sky complaints again in recent days, without any success? Some may feel this is trivial, but when you are on your own, and others ask you, it does get to me!

Does anyone know how I may get this looked at, by someone senior in Sky, Sky Sports, it would be great to see the Tweets again by Sky Sports Rugby League, as I do with football, and not jusr see BLOCKED!

Why do you say that you have been blocked, what is happening when you try to access their tweets ?

I can't see Sky Sports Rugby League, tweets at all!  but if I  search for Sky Sports, it says I'm BLOCKED!  this is from seeing or replying.

it just seems a little over the Top!  From SKY? and I wonder if just one person on the commentary team, took it on themselves!  I wouldn't mind the lead commentator I worked with many years in radio?

Very odd, are you able to send them a direct message or perhaps try to contact them via their Facebook account instead ?

Yes when I pressed your link it returned as BLOCKED!

Found myself blocked on SkySportsRL twitter page  despite never making a post on there, as it is the one sport that keeps me as a subscriber as to me the other sports are irrelevant. only just found out that the NRL is off today and replace by that useless pub game Darts . If someone does not address this will make my feelings very public on other sports threads

You are talking to Sky customers here and not Sky support so have you tried contacting Sky via their Facebook account instead ?

I was unblocked in the end, but it took a lot of email correspondence, and Sky complaints, though helpful, kept passing what I said higher, in the end as I said I was unblocked.
