Sky Q remote controller

New Sky Q user .My remote contoller keyboard has buttons showing both numbers and letters. For the life of me I cannot see how to switch between the two. I saw one suggestion that pressing the number key twice would swith to the letter but not in my case. Keep pressing the number key and I keep getting the number repeated on the screen. Would appreciate some suggestions that work.

Hi @Moky 

You need to be in a menu that accepts letters before you can use the Alpha keys.

Such as manual search where you can scroll through the left hand characters using the Alpha keys.

Off hand I cannot think of any other place in Q where you can input Alpha characters.

Edit 

There is another area where you could use the Alpha characters and that is when entering a WiFi password for 3rd Party Broadband
