Hi, Sky Q mini, updated s/w, same as main box (Q170). For the last 6 months the audio and picture cuts out for a split sec. Before the s/w update, it used to go out of sync, but that symptom seems to have gone.
So the current symptoms are as follows; Mini box is left on (green led), turn on TV from standby, all is good. Watch Sky (any channel). Then, after a variable amount of time, 5 minutes, 10 minutes (sometimes longer), the TV screen goes back and audio is lost, but for a split second. Sometimes it is accompanied by a weired "bleep'. I have captured this in the video.
However sometimes the sound and picture goes altogether and the Mini box is unresponsive and needs a reset to get it back.
Signal to main box is good as it's only 10 feet away if that through a plasterboard partition wall.
This issue is so frustrating. Main Sky Q box is fine (although that needs power resetting quite often as it too locks up) and certainly doesn't suffer the same issue. That box too is left on (no standby on either box, they always have green led).
Any suggestions welcome except turn it off and on again 😊
