Sky Q box showed no signal error and now won’t even turn on!

Hello everyone, 

so today I woke up , along with my three kids (all under 5) and on turning on the box, a message appeared that there is no signal but some internet services and recordings may work. I then checked the recordings and apps, but nothing came up. It all said no signal. I went into settings, and it said there is no signal. I tried the 0,0,1 and select option and made sure it was on on the correct bandwidth etc. I tried turning the box on and off from the mains but still the same error. Called sky who have arranged an engineer for NEXT SUNDAY! I have no idea what to do till then!  I even asked the person on the phone, if I should just reset, and they said not to. Now I wish I did, because the box won't even turn on now. If I switch it off from the mains, then follow the onscreen instructions, I wait till the screen goes blank and the amber light appears, I press home, and nothing, press the power button on remote, nothing and then when I press the button with the amber light on, instead of turning green, it stays amber for a few seconds and then turns off altogether. Please could someone help?
