@Kei+M Can you please explain in simple English why I never receive any emails from Sky with any updates etc. I only receive updates when I have changed my contact or if I have emailed complaints. Even though I have been told you guys have my email and you notify me with any news or updates,I continue to receive nothing. So either there is something wrong with your systems or you simply not telling me the truth

Don't bother waiting for them, you'll  be waiting a long time, I phoned up yesterday twice after being told I would get an email by 3pm yesterday, nothing, called at 3.10pm, took about 20 min and all sorted, my box arrived at 11.30 am today, latest box as well.

Anyone who is getting a V3 box, pelase remember to check for sound drop outs and report them to Sky when they happen.

Not had anything regarding the upgrade I was told there is a queue and that it is first come basis, that's a load of rubbish as I registered back in September, it must be a big queue

On the Sky website, if you have a V1 box it says you can upgrade, then it directs you to the shop, but the closest I can find are the minis and nothing else, unless someone knows different?

So I've tried doing this and there is still no option anywhere. Where did you see it I've gone to my account tried sky vip and the dedicated sky hdr bit and still nothing.

The wifi from my V1 Q box had been up and down for months. When it was down, all the mini boxes were inoperable. Finally spoke to Sky a couple of weeks ago when the Q was not connecting to the router either by Ethernet or wifi. She suggested changing the box and today a very helpful Sky engineer did just that. Ethernet connected immediately and when I checked Lemurs, it was in HDR on my LG set (originally, I had a v1 box). Zapping  seems a bit slower but the V2 box seems fine. Happy now

The link in the email I received didn't actually work. It just took me to the sky main account page!

 

I gave up in the end and phoned. After waiting probably 15 mins listening to lift music was put though and got sorted.

 

That was yesterday. Box turning up tomorrow. For all the moaning about sky customer service that I read,  that's pretty good service tbh!

 

BTW What are peoples experiences like with regard to handing over old hdmi & mains cables. Does the courier insist on them?
