Sky Go won't open on Amazon Fire 7 tablet

I and my husband have Fire 10s and within last couple of days we've been unable to access Sky. We've tried everything, restarting, deleting all and reinstalling.  We keep getting message telling us to upgrade subscription.  Paying a fortune, £100 per month, for something we can't use. Time to cancel I think it this isn't resolved immediately.

Are you a new customer to Sky @Nicola+Sutton or have you returned after being away for a year or longer ?

Can you not watch anything even live tv without seeing this message ?

No I'm not a new customer.  I have been with Sky since it first started and both of us use our tablets virtually every day to watch Sky for everything.  I cannot even watch ITV!

I have escalated your post to Sky who will be in touch with you regarding this via a blue/red chat bubble which will appear at the bottom of this page. It can take up to 24 hours to be contacted via this.

Thanks but it was easier to speak with someone at sky. A very helpful lady called Eva resolved my problem. It was something to do with account links. Not sure why, all of a sudden, it stopped working but it's sorted now.

Hi This has now happened to me on my fire device. What to do? What is the solution?

My problem was that several months ago my husband transferred his account into my name but he'd been using my email address. It seems it took sky some 6 months to realise this which caused a problem. Anyway I actually spoke to a human at sky .... eventually.... and it took nearly 2 hours on the phone but finally the account was sorted. I'd advise speaking to someone.
