Sky Go error code 1310

Everytime i try to watch something on sky go on my pc it simply says error gives the error 1310 message

 

I have tried a clean reinstall and that didnt help

 

I can watch whatever i please on my actual sky box but absolutely nothign on sky go

If you are not able to even watch live TV via the Sky Go app then are you signed in with the correct Sky ID. For example if you had Sky in the past and cancelled and was away for a year or more then your Sky account will have been closed so you would have to set up a new Sky ID to login to the app with.

how does one find their sky ID, i logged in with the accounts email and password, is that the issue?

It just tells me that i can use my email as my sky iD username, it doesnt give me an alternative

Try setting up a ID here, you will need either your Sky account number or viewing card number to hand:

 

https://www.sky.com/help/diagnostics/sky-id/sky-id

 

You can put anything in the username box so I wouldn't put in an email address.
