Sky Go Error 4090

 I have this problem in my Sky Go app on iPhone 12 when I try to view a show. I've looked at the various posts on here and none of the solutions work (all involving inserting my membership number in some links which don't exist in 2021). I think it's due to having another old account somehow linked to Sky Go back when I used it successfully about 10 years ago.


Also I can't send remote record messages to my Sky Q box and on my Sky Q settings it says Sky Go is not enabled even though I have it as part of my package (I'm led to believe this is due to not having multiroom). Does anyone know the actual solution?

Make sure your Sky account is linked to your Sky ID, to do this see if you can access this link to view your online Sky bills:

 

https://www.sky.com/manage/bill/

 

You might then be asked to link it to your ID and you will need your Sky account number or your viewing card number.

 

If you were a Sky customer in the past then you will need a new login to use with Sky Go as you previous one will have been closed.

If you are seeing the 4090 error @Daviddillionjose then have you tried what has already been posted as a possible soloution that is in the post above yours ?

I am trying to use Sky go on my phone but keep getting this error and i tried the link suggested to the bill - that worked ok and i wasnt prompted to link any ID.  Any ideas pls?
