Re: Sky Glass Delivered
@DBKS just want to know how good is PQ and sound, how it runs and how well playlist works and if its smooth when watching on different platforms like Netflix.

Re: Sky Glass Delivered
@Jon+Reeve if you've come from BT TV to any type of sky TV set up your going to be very happy indeed. I had sky TV up until 18 months ago and the operating system is appalling.

Re: Sky Glass Delivered
@Jadeypup Yes, the UI is appalling. It's costing me more to have Sky Glass but I'm happy to pay it. BT don't make any effort at all with their offer.

Re: Sky Glass Delivered
@Jon+Reeve I think the worst aspect of the BT service was the remote it was so unresponsive. I had several and they were all as bad as each other. I look forward to getting my Sky Glass tomorrow!

Re: Sky Glass Delivered
So after two delivery dates and arriving about 40 mins after the scheduled slot, it took the drivers around 30 mins or so to install the TV into the stand. It didn't seem like a straightforward job either so glad it was done for us. The drivers were great and kept apologising for the delay, all to be expected with this being their first Sky Glass delivery. Just turned on and software update installing

It wasn't the attaching of the base to the spine of the stand was it? Took me absolutely ages, it's because the screw holes in the stand don't align properly with the base and the final screw took me about an hour to get it.

Re: Sky Glass Delivered
@Anonymous Thats exactly what they seemed to have problems with. I think me and my husband would have ended up arguing if it had been left up to us to put it together lol.

Re: Sky Glass Delivered
Had Sky Glass 65" delivered this morning, along with 4 pucks. I've switched them all on and completed SW updates on all 5 devices. All looks good so far.
Sound & Picture on the Glass is decent - I had Sony 4K & Sony Soundbar before and the sound is definitely comparable. One thing I did note is that my advanced audio settings are unavailable as it says I have an external speaker connected - which I don't. I'll look into that more this evening.
So far, I have only had 2 devices running at any one time - Glass & 1 puck whilst installing / updating then moved to the next. Looking at my Wi-Fi settings, each puck was consuming anywhere from 20-30MBPs when streaming a channel and the Glass was streaming at 30-40MBPs.
First impressions great, but later tonight when the kids are home will be the acid test. I've explained the new layout & playlist concept to the techna-phobe missus and she seems to have the hang of it so far.
Happy to answer any questions anyone has, cheers.
