I'm guessing the call a moment ago on my landline from 'Sky Technical Department' is a coincidence... especially as he hung up on me when I asked him to prove he worked for Sky.
Caller: "I'm calling from Sky Technical Department. Our servers show that your internet speed is slow"
Me: "Can you prove you work for Sky? I not going to share any personal details unless I know you are from Sky"
Caller: "I don't need your personal details, I'm going to fix your slow internet"
Me: "How do I know you work for Sky?"
Caller: "You can keep your slow internet and personal details to yourself..... *hangs up*"

Mine is also doing this and I had a new router less than a week ago. Very frustrating whilst working from home.

Is there any update please? I've heard nothing since yesterday just after lunch when you said you needed to escalate as the line check didn't pick up the intermittent problem.
I work from home but currently this is not viable using Sky broadband as Teams calls constantly drop out (including whilst writing this post!!).
Can you please chase the engineers and ask someone to contact me? I've had no phone call, email or message so far.

This happens to me several times a day.. I've had 3 different routers, all have done the same. I had an engineer visit and he said it was my powerline adapters. I replaced them all with new ones (that use different protocols) and it still does it.
Do you use full fibre and powerlines by any chance?

Mine does this and now on my third router. Moved to FTTP in the hope it would sort it but it has not. Sky have suggested an electrician check my sockets. I'm in a new build house though so really don't think it's this and don't want to incur the cost of unnecessary electrical checks.
seems like a lot of people seem to have this frequent restarting issue though .....
I am moving over to BT and hoping that sorts it. Shame though as when my sky isn't rebooting, it actually works fine.

Mine turned out to be because of my Hikvision CCTV cameras. As soon as I turn them off, its stable and doesn't drop. Sky have acnowledged there is incompatibility between their router and Hikvision cameras.

Oh my goodness, I have Hik-Connect cctv. Do you think this may be the cause then?! Will I notice any difference with the BT? Thanks for your reply
