My wife is addicted to the craft shopping channels, any ideas why they are not available and if there are any plans to introduce them? I'm getting a ton of grief over this😪

No one knows at present, I'm sure they will at some point, on the plus side it could save a few quid 🙂

I quite like the streamlined down channel list - ones I would rather weren't there anyway! 🤣

My missus is the same though I did warn her about them not being there, she said most are available to watch via their websites.

@graham121 the shopping channels that are wanting to be watched have you checked their official sites to see if they already offer their own way of watching the channel might give you an indication to what might happen or what has already happened

My wife has insisted that we get the shopping channels back or we have to cancel Glass and go back to Q.
As a temporary fix, I have plugged the Q box into Glass via HDMI. Most of Q is not working but the Freeview-type channels, including the shopping ones, are available. Marriage saved.
Once Sky want their Q box back we'll be stuffed and I'll either have to switch back to paid-for Q or maybe get a Freeview box of some sort, though I'm loath to do that as obviously Sky just need to provide the full set of channels on Glass that are available on Q.

It was the Craft channels my wife wanted and they both stream on YouTube so that solved the problem. She used to record the demonstrations for future reference but that can't happen with Glass.

Omg those channels are dire.
I think they're designed for people sat at home who've had a few to drink, to get them to spend money they normally wouldn't.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@FoxsterUKThe problem is that with freeview you need a terrestrial aerial and with freesat you need the LNB in the dish changed back from the Q one to the normal one.
However channels like the "craft store" stream on line so something like the Amazon fire stick(from £29) or Roku dongles would work.

No you don't. the current Freesat box works perfectly well with the wideband LNB that Q uses.

Yep, the latest Freesat 4K boxes work with the Q wideband LNB so it wouldn't need changing

Yes I had forgot that however you have to make sure you get the 4K ones as there are loads of cheaper ones about that do not work with the Q LNBs.
