Services stopped

I reset my direct debit date from 12 to the 27th August , I received a confirmation message that I would pay next direct debit on the 27th August , however now my services have been stopped today and I'm being asked to pay a late payment fee and I cannot even talk to anyone at sky unless I make a payment

@999Georgie  What date did you change the DD dates in your account?  As it seems although you changed the date the original DD may have been due to be collected regardless, this being the case if there was no money in the account they would not have been able to collect.  

 

Usually a change in DD dates takes effect from the next month, not the current month.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

When did you do it? If Sky have restricted your services, it's because a bill is unpaid. I'm guessing that 's probably the bill on 12 August which was already in progress.

The bill for the 12th August would have been created two weeks prior to this so would need to be paid so if it wasn't and Sky could take it 10 days after this then they would suspended your services. Changing your date plays no part in this.

No because I got a message saying the next payment taken would be on 27th August arghhh anyway I had to withold my number to speak to them as the phone message kept repeating I needed to make payment

They reinstated it thank goodness
