Sensor for Sky Q
Is there any Magic Eye that works with Sky Q and if not why doesn't Sky produce one?

Hi @Cobo-bloke
Sky Q has no RF outputs and so Magic eye will not function.
As Q using long range Bluetooth remotes there should be no need.

Re: Sensor for Sky Q
For video, the Q system does not output RF. (RF is a low quality analogue signal but can be sent over reasonable distances)
For remote controls the system has moved from IR to Bluetooth.
If you want to drive another TV then:
(Sky solution) Sky Q mini + multiroom subscription
(Non-Sky) HDMI extenders over CAT6 for example.

Re: Sensor for Sky Q
HI @Cobo-bloke no there is no magic eye for SKY Q.
IIRC the magic Eye system linked via the RF input which SKY Q doesn't have and even as an infrared repeater system it was not perfect.
SKY Q uses bluetooth which is very relaible for boxes which are out of line of sight (which mine is). As an experiment I even tested my remote from my rear garden with my SKY Q box at the front of the house.
I think some people (& maybe yourself) used the old system via RF cables to use in another room where the magic eye system was useful but SKY Q is desgined around using mini boxes in extra rooms which provide full HD quality & 5.1 suuround sound
