It's a bit of a silly one but we have just had a media wall put in and I took out the satellite cables from the back of the sky q box. I now have no clue where the other end went.
Any help much appreciated.

Hi @lizzyjones
The two coax cables in the back of the Q box normally go direct to the Satellite dish.
If the Dish cables have been connected correctly to your media plate then you need two short coax cables to go from media plat to Q box.
Assuming the media plate has two F connectors then you need F connectors on both ends of the short cables.
Something like this ?

Thank you so much for this.
I have looked and can't seem to source a media plate or the ability to connect straight to the satalite. It's probably me getting it wrong but I just can't seem to see a point where it would of gone to from the sky box.

Hi @lizzyjones
Difficult to comment fully without knowing what has taken place.
All I can clarify is that in a normal Q install the twin cables from the dish would go through a hole drilled in the wall near and connected to the Q box using F connectors on the end of the cable. So that's direct from Dish to Q box
Wall plates can be used if they consist of two straight through F connector fittings. Something like the following
As there are two cables two fittings or a twin unit would be required.
The F connectors on the cables from the dish would connect to the back of the fittings and a two short cables with F connectors on both ends would go from front of the faceplate/media plate to the Q box.
Twin units are available.
