Like these is no sky Disney movie channel now on the guide. The number is still the same they just changed the name of the channel to sky animation

The Sky Disney Movie channel ceased to be viable once Disney launched their streaming platform (Disney+) and withdrew distribution rights for their content from everywhere else.

Re: SD channels

And that is also kinda one of my points. They removed that channel and replaced it in HD with another but why couldn't they do that with SD. There is space on the EPG numbers, but it was just deleted and so reducing the number of SD movie choices

@w0wzer It would suggest to me that viewing figures for the SD movie channels weren't that high.

Re: SD channels

That might very well be the case and if they wanted to fill those spaces with other channels then fine, I have no problem with that. But my beef is that its not being filled with another option but just removed, with the numbers deleted. But yes it might be SD movies might not get as many viewing figures so on that, then surely all sports channels will also be removed totally, because I am sure more people watch their sports in HD.

Its just I record films in SD and I gave up my DVD player because its saved and stored on the box and never record sport so only having HD in sports is OK with me

One last thing and if anyone can help me out with this info it would be greatly appreciated.

There is an option to copy on your recordings. Can you copy them onto a separate hard drive, if so can that drive be plugged into the back of the HD box. I don't have a computer

Thanks Gary

'Fraid not. You can copy them to a DVD recorder or a VHS recorder, if you still have one, in real time.
