Since buying a new (same model and connections) DVD recorder I am unable to record sky programs (not sky Q). I followed the advice from sky but that still didn't work! Help!

We'll need a bit of detail to be able to try to help.
How are your Sky box and DVD recorder connected? How are you setting up to copy a recording from your Sky box? What happens when you try it?

Re: Recording to DVD
Thank you for your reply. I was able to record on my previous DVD recorder and I connected the new one ( same model) exactly the way the previous one was. I think the previous one was not tuned correctly ( sky engineer wasn't keen to do it). I tuned the new one and tried to follow the hints on sky.com (copy then press record) but what is recorded is the tv channel. Do I need to reconnect - I'm not really confident in doing this!
