Router Dropouts and high Ping

Good morning,

I'm wondering if you could help - for the past month or so I am seeing issues with our connections wired or wireless. I have gone through the relevant steps cleared some connections connected to the router but to no avail.

Below you will see me pinging the router and you can see intermittent time outs and high ms > 2000.

Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

Re: Router Dropouts and high Ping

@robhughes88 Since the last 17hrs ago that the router was re-booted, there is no traffic using ethernet?

WiFi is not a stable medium and will always fluctuate and have ping/latency/jitter issues unless you live in a massive detached property away from any other humans, with no other wireless devices around, and with no objects in the way.

Do you have Sky Q boxes etc? What other devices are using the network?

@robhughes88

To me it looks like a WiFi issue. As @JPR007 has suggested your router shows no ethernet activity since it was last rebooted. For us to help we need an accurate test done via ethernet while all other devices are disconnected.
