Yeah, I had a video processor - still have it but 1080p max - that could take a 1080p/60 signal and output 1080p/24 with the pulldown removed. The advent of netflix and skyQ 4k made all that rather redundant.

and SkyQ can certainly output native UK refresh rate, but I think that comment meant to say US, which it can as well now, but that doesn't solve the 24Hz problem anyway.

So yeah - TV apps. Or xbox. Or firestick.

Yes I've noticed it on Disney+ and I find it so irritating I can't watch it. I've had better quality on pirate movies years ago.

I tend to use another player, my favourite being the 4k Roku streaming stick. Sometimes the built in TV app or the 4k fire tv but I just find the Roku better with no guff and advertising added to it.

Just had Sky Q installed today and updated the software. The gittering on Netflix thruogh Sky Q is horrendous. I use the Netflix app on my Bravia and it's perfect

Have you turned on anti-judder as mentioned in the opening post?

If your TV has an app then always use that over the Q.

The judder reduction may help but the TV app is not constrained by the Q's locked/fixed video mode.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers
