Transferred over to Birhin media in December and I am still being charged for broadband

Basically if you are changing to Virgin or cancelling broadband totally you'll have to contact Sky and give the required notice of 14 days. This link should help https://www.sky.com/help/articles/cancel-sky-broadband
If you are changing to another ISP who uses the Openreach infrastructure then joining up with them and they should contact Sky on your behalf.

Virgin Media cannot take over Sky's broadband as they are 2 different networks, so unless you cancelled your Sky broaband and you got an email confirmation it would appear Sky are still actively supply your broadband.
