Re: Admin Fee

Hello, I am a VIP member having been with Sky for 17 years. In order to get a better deal and cheaper bill my package was changed and I was charged £20 of admin fees in January. However, due to further price increases and offers ending my monthly bill soon rose, resulting in me speaking to Sky again 3 months later in April. I had to change my package again to bring the cost down and yet again I have been charged a further £20 in admin fees! Sorry I think this is very excessive. Am I expected to pay these fees every few months just to get a cheaper bill? I hope the latest fees can be refunded.

Re: Admin Fee

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more

If you were not informed on these fees then you need to contact Sky and inform them of this as they might then refund them by adding a credit to your account which will ber used against a future bill.

Under "Need more help ?" link at the bottom of the page on this link is the number to call Sky on:

  • Admin fees are standard practice now and the likelihood of them being waived is getting less as most customers are aware of them.
  • However, if you were not, ask and you may be lucky.
Passing on the tips I have learned in over 25 years as a more than satisfied Sky customer.
