Question about Using an old Sky+ HD Box
I cancelled Sky five years ago, having never upgraded to Plus or HD. I still have my ancient Sony SD digibox and Sky card, which works absolutely fine for all the free channels. However, having just bought a shiny new HD TV I have a couple of questions;
1) If I buy a Sky+ HD box and swap it with the Sony will I get the "free" HD channels such as BBC1/2/4, ITV, C5, CNBC, CNN, Bloomberg, etc?
2) If I decide to return to Sky am I 100% forced to have Sky Q or can they reactivate my card and I use it in one of the above boxes?
Many thanks for any help.

Re: Question about Using an old Sky+ HD Box
HD boxes all get the free HD channels
Sky will insist on Sky Q being installed unless there is a legitimate reason you cannot have it ie communal dish that is not upgraded etc..
