Re: Puck problems

One thing that has helped me greatly this evening (3 pucks and a glass tv running on Vodafone Gigafast) is to set the pucks to 1080p rather than 2160p. Obviously this isn't a long term solution but while they fix the bugs it should help things run smoother. For now I'll stick to my Apple TV for steaming UHD stuff - to be honest most of what I'm watching on Sky is only 1080p anyway.

Re: Puck problems

My pucks now seem a lot more stable. I can now watch Netflix in 4K without them crashing out

Re: Puck problems

So I initially set up the second puck and all was well. After a few days of not using it,  no joy.

power it off and and on and I get flashing white light. Then the sky splash screen, the. More flashing lights, then no lights. I rinse and repeat the power cycle and it's exactly  the same. Any tips pls?

Re: Puck problems

I have had the same issues with the flashing white light and loading connectivity. I was then told on here by live chat that they will need to replace it so need to call. After 40 min told they would have to charge me £50 for a new one and refund £50 on next bill. Usually wouldn't have a problem with this but if you have upgrade from sky Q to sky glass you already have 2 Bill’s coming this month or nov bill and you will then be credited from them in December to your BB bill but if you don't have BB then the credit will be refunded 45 days later

Re: Puck problems

I hope my pucks, I do. It have to change down,  had nothing but issues with the sky q mini boxes had to put mine to 720p to reduce the blue screen of death, and network issues.

My pucks are pretty stable, though mine were set to 1080p out of the box... though happy with 1080....

Re: Puck problems

Yes.  Mine is a nightmare!!! Slow to react to any input and leaves a black picture for minutes.  ITV hub always plays from the start of a programme  even when half way through it! While system is poor
