I followed the instructions, accessed the www.primevideo.com/watchonsky web site and only get the prime site with no followu on info on setup on sky q. Yes I have a prime video account and watch on other devices. Cann launch the app. Just updated the sky q software aswell and rebooted the box.

Can you see the Prime Video app in the Apps menu on the Q box?
If so what happens when you try to launch it?
Any error messages?
If the app isn't there what software version do you currently have on the Q box?

Hi, the app only shows a 1m trailer and when I go th my account to access the app it suggests 'go to www.primevideo.com/watchonsky and follow instructions' however it only goes to the prime program list with no other info. The software is Q140.000.37.00L
Hardware 32B206.
I think this is the most recent.
Ps. just reset my apps and this worked, just to signin.

Yes the software version is the latest and correct one.
You mentioned you reset the apps, are you referring to the Apps Refresh through the installer menu?
Is the Prime Video app working for you now then?

I am getting the same, how do you refresh the apps, I have a prime account and only get the www.amazon.co.uk/watchon etc... read the discussion on this topic but it seemed to run out when you got to the refresh the apps bit, how do you do this?

I have a Prime account and I can see the app on the SkyQ box, but I can only watch the trailer. It doesn't give me the option to sign in or register my account.
I have signed into my Amazon account to see if i can add SkyQ as a device instead and it tells me to go to the prime app and put in the code shown on screen but as i've mentioned I can only watch the 1m trailer and nothing else.

because that's the only place it is. If I try to add it as an app it takes me to a page which tells me to logon to amazon.co.Uk/watchonskyuk
when you do this it asks for the security code displayed on screen (which you can't get because you can only watch the 1m preview) back to square one

i can get the code but there is nowhere on sky apps tp put it in it just gives me the website or the 1m video
