Are you on superfast or ultrafast?
If your house is on the same electric circuit wifi ethernet powerline adapters will maintain close to full router speed using your electric wiring as an ethernet cable. If ultrafast you may have splash out more for Devolo power lines.
Also if you subscribe to broadband boost at £5 pm you can request skys own booster mesh system
Or 3rd party mesh such as asus set up as access points will also do the job
