Re: Playlist refresh now live.
Not sure why there are items missing from your playlist if they've been added, I've not come across this unless that program or episode is no longer available.
Netflix has its own continue watching rail in the Playlist section of the menu towards the bottom. It doesn't always work with the Netflix app just crashing, you're best just using the Netflix app directly.

Re: Playlist refresh now live.
@AUS191 as @Anonymous says it doesn't work with Netflix. Netflix has its own agenda and doesn't integrate with ant stream box. A bit short sighted of Netflix in my opinion.

Re: Playlist refresh now live.
@Ed.B. As an avid watcher of F1 and T20 cricket I was planning to cancel Sky Sport after this weekends Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. However, I have changed my mind as Sky have now fixed the main cause of my frustration. They now put the current/last races and games to appear first and not last on the playlist. We no longer have to scan throught up to 150 episodes to get to the current F1 race or cricket game.
Maybe my remote batteries will now last longer than 5 weeks 😀

Re: Playlist refresh now live.
Hi @Fothergill1 Like you the change in order is going to save me an awful lot of scrolling through old GP recordings. I believe the change was made partially because of feedback from F1 fans in the forum but it helps avid watchers of soaps as well.

Re: Playlist refresh now live.
Hi @Chrisee I have checked the other items in my playlist and have found that about a third of them have changed to show the last series and episode first. Do you have any idea what the criteria might be for whether they show up in the new format or not? Maybe they will al change over in time.
Well done Sky, at last we have an update that enhances the functionality in a number of ways. It's not perfect but is getting there. If you could just sort out the problems with the dissapearing blue bar that shows what you have watched I would be a very happy.

Re: Playlist refresh now live.
@Fothergill1 apparently that is how some the app owners wanted it done especially where they drop a season in one dump. Alll Sky content should have switched and the bulk of the linear channel links like soaps. Can you give a few examples that haven't?

Re: Playlist refresh now live.
I'm slowly getting my head around the new playlist, most recent, continue watching update BUT ......maybe it's just me,would it not have made more sense to put the continue watching rail (and get it to actually sync across all glass tvs and pucks)inside the playlist tab????)

Re: Playlist refresh now live.
Overall I see this as a step forward, a small step but progress nonetheless.
I can understand having the continue watching on the main homepage, but why not also have it located in the 'Playlist' section. When you went into the playlist previously it still showed 'Play Now' rail. Seems like such an awkward decision to essentially split personal viewing managament to two separate places.

Re: Playlist refresh now live.
It's still not right so hopefully the next update will clean it up further.
- Playlist - Bangers & Cash has sat at the front end despite all being watched and up to date and new programs coming in that should have pushed it back sit behind it.
- Some programs run eg. Series 1 - 10 and other 10 - 1 no consistency.
- Contine Watching should be in the Playlist section at the top, leave on home screen too if they want but defo needs to be in playlist as you transition between continue and playlist it makes sense for them to be in the same sub section.
- Continue watching needs an easy operation to remove unwanted episodes and or series, fast forwarding to the end of a program to remove it is not the answer.
- Netflix is all over the place, sometimes you can add to playlist other times it just opens the app. Also can't play from playlist it just hangs with red circle of doom.
- Discovery+ don't seem to even find programs when searching let alone add to playlist.
- Disney+ you can add to playlist, does not update to continue watching neither does it update in playlist to show watched episodes or move up the playlist to identify new episodes available
- Prime not sure what happens here sometimes an episode will arrive in continue watching only to disappear and then 'maybe' reappear, there must be a bug with Prime.
- Apple TV not used since the update so can't comment.
- The terrestrial broadcasters and Sky controlled content seems to work as it should (except for Bangers & Cash, lol).
So, really it isn't all fine, it is still a faff, we shouldn't be happy with it because it's not as bad as it was and it needs some further urgent work. 🤞

Re: Playlist refresh now live.
@Anonymous I full agree with you it's still not 100%
I also have a show stuck in the front of most recent even though all eposide have been watched it just still will not move any new episodes of my current show just fall in behind it
Apple TV does not show in continue watching having said that I noticed yesterday an episode of the mosquito coast that had been added to apple had jumped to about 5th place in my most recent

Re: Playlist refresh now live.
Thanks for the quick reply @Chrisee
I have now checked my playlist and you are correct. Almost all the Sky content has changed to the new format of showing the most recent series first descending to series 1. The main exceptions are "Witness" and "Drama" which still show up in the old format.
With iPlayer most programmes (but not all) have chaned to the new format but Prime Video and Channel 5 have not.

Re: Playlist refresh now live.
Most recent in playlist doesn't move around as advertised!
Not sure why!

Re: Playlist refresh now live.
You're right I now have about 4 programs ahead of recent aired episodes, no rhyme or reason to it.
Also this backwards series listing is in the minority not majority very hit n miss.
Another half baked rollout. 🤨
Trouble with Netflix tonight too failing to load and pixelating. Switch to Apple no problems. Watched The Good Nurse, good film!
