Re: Pixelation on recordings mini box

Hi all, no problems watching live tv downstairs today and I also watched catch up of coronation street on the main q box with no issues. Later I watched casaulty & the bay season 2 episode 3 on recordings on the mini box upstairs, the pixelation happened at least three times during each  program. This is getting more and more annoying and certainly puts off any enjoyment I have in watching the programs. I really hope SKY are looking into this, strange how it's only happened the last month or so.

Re: Pixelation on recordings mini box

Where do I complain online please? I already called last week and they did a load of stuff over the phone like checking settings but nothing happened. Many thanks

How to complain on line to sky one of my previous posts on this thread also tells you how to complain to Ofcom is Skys answer not acceptable

What is strange is that we have not had one sky representative post on this thread, that must indicate something, they are always posting on threads.

Re: Pixelation on recordings mini box

UPDATE: I have also noticed a couple of picture break ups with live tv today. ITV HD. Not occurred many times but it is happening and I know it's not dish alignment as Sky have only just realigned that stating it was only slightly out of allignment anyway.  My boys also mentioned they had seen a couple of brief picture freezes on the main Sky Q box when watching football on Sky Sports today too. Hope that's not a sign of things getting worse to come. Recordings are still pixelating on the mini box too but not noticed on the main box yet.

Re: Pixelation on recordings mini box

The Liverpool game broke up twice for me but if I rewind it's on the recording so don't think it's the same issue.

Re: Pixelation on recordings mini box

Good missed that easy to miss with so many posts, let's hope they pull their finger out. I was involved with software updates and bug fix implementation most companies role  out software and wait for the users to find the problems.

Re: Pixelation on recordings mini box

Im having same problem. Main box is fine but watching certain not all recordings on both mini boxs keeps freezing/pixelating at random points. Glad its not just me. If it was connection surely live tv would do it too? If anyone gets theres sorted let me know how. 👍🏻

Re: Pixelation on recordings mini box

A good start would be for them to roll a few of us back to the previous software version just to see if it really is due to the last update!

Re: Pixelation on recordings mini box

@Kei+M Myself and my mother are both having problems with our sky boxes picture randomly pixelating in places on both live tv and recordings on both main boxes and mini,  quite  often I can be watching a live program and it will pixelate but then if I rewind it, it doesn't happen. Other times it will be a recorded program and then it will randomly stop, I've done everything settings wise on the website and based on previous experience dealing with sky customer service It seems no point calling them as for it to be happening to so many people it's most definitely related to the last software update.  I really hope sky get to the bottom of this soon

Re: Pixelation on recordings mini box

Exact same issues for us as well. Started around November time noticing it occasionally when watching recorded iron demand content and it's got steadily worse since . Issue is only on MinI boxes, just tried watching It's a Sin download on channel four and it must have broken up a good 20-30 times during the course of the programme. This needs sorting pronto - it's obviously a major issue being experienced by a lot of people and we're paying premium money, so we have a right to expect the service to be fit for purpose.
