Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreLooking at the stuff on the US CBS section currently a lot of it is already on Sky, CBS and 5 group of channels - so rights already out for UK.

Hi guys,
I received an email from Paramount Plus today to advise that the service will finally be launching in the UK on 22nd June.
I believe that if you already have Sky Cinema then you will get this for free. Hopefully this will be same launch date with Sky too.
Hope you find this helpful.
Kind regards
Lee

According to the Social Media account they said they are Launching HD and 5.1. I hope that's not true as I know they are doing 4K Doiby Vision and Atmos. Halo TV show I know of being one of them and one film that they been advertising alot was also Star Trek The Motion Picture Directors Cut as well. and a few other films. I hope they come out the gate with full 4K otherwise it's going to be a bit of a turn off even if it's part of my sub from sky.

Well you're not going to get Dolby Vision via Sky Q for starters. Glass maybe, but who knows?

Who said I was going to use the Crappy Q box. The Q box will only be to sign in and get it activated but accroding to Paramount+ I can log into any other platform afterwards and it will be Dolby Vision based devices I would use if they supported it at least.

I seen the list. I play star trek online and got friends in the US who we regually chat TV shows and I also get to reval specs of shows. Halo is one show if Vision and Atmos, The Directors cut Of Star Trek The Motion Picture which was advertised so well I seen the trailer in the UK list it as Vision and Atmos. It's weather it will be over here or not. According to Paramount+ social media it might no be and that's going to be disappointing if it's not.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@Burnsey85 no, unless anything has changed from original announcement, paramount plus will not be part of a now tv cinema pack
11 May 2022 05:45 PM
Where did you see that?
11 May 2022 05:47 PM
Sky confirmed to us that NOW subscribers (Sky’s streaming service) won’t get Paramount+ for free, even if they’re subscribed to the Cinema membership. But the stand-alone Paramount+ app will be available on NOW’s own streaming devices (although those are no longer being manufactured

@StargazerUK1984 Where does it say on the Paramount+ website that you can log into it on different devices after activating it on Sky?
