Over-heating sky q box

Should I disconnect my (new) sky q box when I'm on holiday for safety reasons as it over-heated recently?

Hi @BIKER-CHIC SKYQ boxes are best left on standby, make sure your settings are on ECO, when you are away. I presume the box is in a well ventilated area and not enclosed?

If your box has been overheating badly, has turned itself off, then you should call SKY and get the box replaced.

@BIKER-CHIC I always leave mine on Standby so it still records when I am on Holiday
