Outlook 2019 delete online inbox after 7 days

Hi Help please.

I set my Outlook to delete online inbox emails after 7 days, but my PC has died so now I have to concentrate on my online sky / yahoo emails, but its only saving them for 7 days.

How do I turn this off  online please?

If Outlook was set up to delete the email from the server then using a different device set your email account up again and either change this setting or set it up to leave the emails on the server, this will be via the POP server. If you use IMAP then you don't have such a settings as what you view via the email program like Outlook is duplicated via your online email account.

@cleanwipe as a temporary measure you could just move emails from your Inbox as they arrive to another folder (creating one, if necessary) so that the auto delete has nothing to remove.

Settings you make/made in Outlook do not affect the server settings, only how Outlook collects the emails, so if it is no longer running it won't be causing the problem you are seeing.

There is no setting in Sky|Yahoo to delete emails after 7 days (at least as far as I know) so I can only think something is deleting them. If you change the password it should stop it from happening.

Edit: If you have created any app passwords you will need to remove access to those as well as changing the password.
