I am trying to email people with Sky email addresses but the mail is not delivered

I am emailing from my work email address but all emails to Sky.com users fail to be delivered. I think the Sky servers are blocking me. How do I get unblocked? These are people that are mailing me and I cannot reply.

To use the Sky servers you need to add your work email address to your Sky account, so click here:

 

https://www.sky.com/help/articles/using-sky-yahoo-mail

 

And select Account Settings > Using alternative email addresses and follow the instructions.

Thanks but I do not have a sky address. I am just emailing generally to people from my @outofboundscomedy.co.uk address.

What outgoing SMTP server are you using ?

And what happens when you send these emails, if you get an error message what does it say ?

I get this email. This has happened several times and to several recipients.

I'm afraid I wasn't able to deliver your message to the following addresses.
This is a permanent error; I've given up. Sorry it didn't work out.

You did say you don't have a Sky email address so what is that sky email in the error message ?

That was one of the people I was emailing. I am on a Pipeten account. I emailed peoole that have a sky account, several different addresses, and I keep getting the failure email back after several days.

Have you spoken to Pipeten about this? It sounds like a misconfiguration at their end.

I would make sure you have their correct SPF record set on your domain as per this guide, https://www.pipeten.com/support/legacy/email/adding-an-spf-record/

 

This would usually help to improve deliverability / avoid going to peoples spam. If a provider is blocking your emails this will either be because your emails look like spam (missing body, embedded images, etc) or some other reason and they should generate a bounce email which would tell you why it was rejected.
