Openreach keep cancelling visits
Hello, i have had 2 visits cancelled by Openreach with Sky just saying they'll put a review on my account to find out what's going on.
The original visit was insisted by Advisors from Sky on the phone that the install would go ahead as Openreach told them it would be installed by 6pm. 5:57pm i get a text to say it's not going ahead and to rebook. Fine so i did it was meant to be installed before 1pm get a text at 11:30 again that this has been delayed again.
Not exactly happy with the serivice as a new customer. I'm assuming this is more Openreach's fault then Sky's. I work from home and 4g for meetings just isn't cutting it. I'm paying for a 4g connection which is costing me 35+ a month.
Sky seem to seemingly unaware of why the appointments are being cancled and just tell me to rebook them.
Am i also correct in saying missed appointments by Openreach engineers there is £25 compenstation?
I was just wondering if anyone else had come accross this issue where Openreach just seem to cancel appointments with no reason at all?
