No signal and remote not working

My sky said no signal this more so I reset it as instructed now when it resets the remote isn't doing anything when I press home but the remote is working a I use it for the tv too! When the screen does come back on it's stuck on demo and I can't get it off please help

Reset your Remote by pressing & holding 7 & 9 until the red led above the SKY logo/button flashes 4 times

This will reset it to infrared mode & will need line of sight of the Q box

You will then need to re-pair it by pressing & holding 1 & 3 together & follow the instructions
