No calls out or in

My cordless landline can't make any calls out. When someone cals me it says the line is not connected. The phone has the right time and date.  I had my phone a few metres outside for about an hour before problem. The battery reading is full. Is this terminal for my phone?

Re: No calls out or in

This has been happening all week. Have checked connections, They are okay.  My internet is working. The phone hasn't been working today, but if it is anything like other days, it will come back later on and then probably go off again tomorrow. Emailed Sky and am waiting for reply. I recently stopped my TV subscription with them as it was becoming too dear in the current climate, so I don't expect much from them!
