No Satellite Signal

Hi, 

 

Anybody having issues with there sky signal, understand there will be loads due to the storm, but I have Sky F1, Sky Golf and Sky NFL that's not working due to no satellite signal, everything else is fine!. Tried resetting and nothing!..

@HollyM83If your dish has moved slightly it will mean that you can't get all the channels.

hi @HollyM83 it is possible that your dish has moved slightly which could affect just some channels

@HollyM83 You'll need to arrange an engineer to realign the dish. I'd get it arranged asap before all the calls following Storm Eunice.

Thank you all.

 

I wondered if this could be it, when we moved into our house last year, the engineer wasn't helpful at all as we were his last job, and just stuck the dish near the roof on a long pole, after tomorrow, I actually don't think it will be there!..

@HollyM83 If there is a suitable site for the dish they may move it so it is

(a) more accessible for repair and

(b) less likely to be affected by high winds like when on a pole.

The engineers generally do not like to use poles but there may be good reasons for this - such as getting the correct angle or avoiding obstructions such as trees or other buildings

We do have a dish out the back but he said that wasn't connected so put it in a pole at the front!..

 

I have booked an engineer for Saturday!. No they charge for a weekend 😂

I booked it via the online booking system, must admit, I was surprised to see Sat/Sun was available..
