New install

Hi I was ment to have Sky Broadband fitted today, the engineer turned up this morning at 8.30 then said he would be back. My appointment was with Openreach 8-1pm I have tried calling him but no reply. I am concerned as I have booked today off from work for this also Monday 7th for Tv install. He said he needed to get in touch with his manager then would report back to me

Re: New install

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more

@Nicholas+Hutchins Most broadband installs are done remotely, the engineer who arrived would be from Openreach not Sky as Sky would not be allowed to touch Openreachs equipment.  The Engineer will need to go the the cabinet to do any work and so it is likely they are doing this.  If your router is plugged in you will know when your broadband has been activated.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.
