Did not know there was any rules saying you could not, and the fact you have now cross threaded your response is not appreciated .

Re: New Update is now out.

Not official that's it's coming out. It's a slow limited test, guess they could still pull it.

Re: New Update is now out.

I called them last o am having a problem with sky glass

It is saying no imter connection but I am using ethernet  cable so they are to looking into it.

Also Itv freezes and sometime loose sound and channel 4 pixilated

So they noted this as well

Is anyone else having the same problem

Re: New Update is now out.

@mally+01 I saw the "No Internet connection" message previously with my hardwired Pucks when my mesh points got into a kerfuffle after my mesh tried to auto optimise itself one day and decided it didn't want to come back properly (my Pucks are hardwired into the mesh points).  Reboot of all the mesh points resolved it.

It's generally a problem when your network is having issues, hardwired or not with Glass here.

What are you hardwired into, some sort of switch distribution throughout the house or direct into the hub?

@Joe-Bow

Directly  into the sky hub

Re: New Update is now out.

@mally+01

I have had the same issue about no internet connection. I was also using Ethernet. As an experiment I disconnected it from Ethernet, rebooted the tv and went with Wi-Fi and have not had the issue since. Been about 10 days!

I wonder if there is an issue with direct connections?

Re: New Update is now out.

@mally+01 Have you checked the logs on the hub for problems during the issue, of looked at the lights on the front to see if they're all green?

Re: New Update is now out.

@oO0C4B4N4  Given a choice, hardwired connections should always be the preferred method of connectivity, if possible, however if Wi-Fi works for you then leave it like that.

In contrast, Wifi's unusable in my house for Glass and the Pucks.  Hardwired to the mesh is, by a vast magnitude, far more stable for me.

@Joe-Bow

Yes all the lights are green on the hub

Re: New Update is now out.

@mally+01  Take a look at the log on the hub to see if you can see anything in that.  If you can't see anything in that then it'll be nigh on impossible to tell  why you had the issue.

Oh, and ITV freezing is under investigation apparently.  I see pixelation periodically, but then I did with Q as well so I'm not sure this is unique to Glass.

Re: New Update is now out.

@Jayboy1990 You are correct it may be pulled or replaced with a newer version.  I had a discussion today and as you would expect more bug fixes are in the works.
