@Jayboy1990 you are welcome,just watching a UHD programme and the picture quality is so much better.  Would be good to hear from others on improvements they are seeing

Mine still hasn't updated. Even left overnight! All I get when going to Software Download in the menu is that "Software update unsuccessful. Please try again. "


have also tuned it off at the wall!

 

Any other ideas?

I got mine by refreshing the apps rather than trying to download the update directly

Looks a little better but banding is still the same looks like another call to sky.

Post update UHD HDR picture quality looks greatly improved.  My voice control is not working though!  Can only do voice controls via remote.  Also strangely motion sensor worked this morning first thing  but then stopped working.  Do you think motion sensor issue is a hardware issue?

Updated software was never going to fix physical defects: the most it could hope to do would be to diminish their impact, which is a bodge, not a remedy.

Updated my Glass last night. I came downstairs this morning and motion sensor worked for the first time! Huzzah!

My Glass switched on correctly first thing today, but then became unresponsive for a few seconds. Also the Enhance Speech setting switched off over night. Bass Boost is still set to ON.

@oO0C4B4N4  I have the same issue on the TV too.  I've power cycled it at least twice too.

 

At least one puck has updated, but not checked any of the others yet.

 

Am loathe to factory reset to try to get this working, and as I have a set with a very good screen I'd also be loathe to sending it back if required.

 

Just had a thought that maybe the download servers are hitting some sort of limit or throttling so will try later this morning if it hasn't updated automatically in the meantime.

Updated yesterday, I now have two huge lines running top to bottom on the screen that I can't get rid of!

@Jeffers27 @Were they like a light blue colour? If so I had that the other day on the old software and ended up having to pull the plug out for 5 mins. Seemed to fix it after that.

 

but again shouldn't have to do that on a new product.
