Watching Sky Sports main event channel 401.
If I press 'down' it goes to Kerrang channel 358, and up goes to Sky sports PL channel 402.
But if I first press the middle button to bring up the channel info, everything is in reverse. Down, more intuitively for me, goes to 402 and up goes to Kerrang.
Why are these things not the same?!?
This is the single most baffling thing about sky glass / stream to me!
Not sure who in their right mind designed that.
I expect down to take me down... And up to take me up. (Just like any other remote control with a ch + and - button!)
Yeah I get that when you're on the full guide you scroll down the page to see the later channels. So maybe that's what they were thinking. But they way they have implemented this is super confusing!

Re: New Firmware QS012 - support for bluetooth head sets.
@Rich85 this is not unique to Stream/Glass as Q does something similar. The explanation I have heard is that there is that traditionally TV remotes worked one way while computer OS's use the other and Sky decided to use a bit of both. The result though is to me a mess but after a while you get used to it.

Re: New Firmware QS012 - support for bluetooth head sets.
My system has been updated to QS012 and I was eagerly waiting to use the Bluetooth feature.
successfully connected my hearing aids and no problem in adjusting volume. However, I have noticed the following problems.
1. The volume is solely through my hearing aids so family cannot hear the tv sound.
2. When using the hearing aids and not connected to the the tv, ie to my iPad, if I pause the playback on my iPad the tv pauses!
Any advice or help will be appreciated.

@Anonymous - I have an OLED TV and so the first thing I did when I got my Stream Puck was see how it looked in 'High Contrast' mode from the accessibility menu - I'm pleased to report that all it seems to do is turn backgrounds etc that are normally blue to black and everything looks super gorgeous on an OLED panel.

Re: Glass new ui and lack of voice fixes
The glassy play and pause icons conflict horribly with the bright blue time bar and the other play and pause icon.
They are both unnecessary and egregious.

Just watched match of the day and see the BBC's implementation of the play/pause icon in the middle of the screen is clearly what sky tried to copy.
But the BBC doesn't also have a second play/pause icon on the timeline.
Sky need to lose the timeline icon if they're going to persist with the glassy icon, because with both the visual design clashes horribly. Presumably it's part of the old code they imported from Q when writing the glass software.

Re: New Firmware QS012 - support for bluetooth head sets.
Got the softwar update.
Shokz connected and works fine.
Airpod Pro 2 connects but you get no sound.
Disconnected both and tried Airpod Pro first but still nothing. The connection is established as the volume control goes up and down on the TV when you do the action on the airpods.
Its a bit confusing. Any ideas?

Thanks for that as I didn't realise the Sky Stream Puck did Bluetooth headphones lol. Though I would just connect to the tv if I was using but nice to know it can do.

Re: New Firmware QS012 - support for bluetooth head sets.
Firmware QS012 adds ability for bluetooth connection for headphones with Sky Glass not Sky Stream Puck
My Sky Glass and Sky Stream Pucks both are on QS012.010.00P
It's only the Sky Glass at the moment that can connect to bluetooth headphones
Sky Stream Puck only lists remote in regards to connected devices
Sky Glass 65 inch and 2 Sky Stream Pucks
Gigabit Siro 100% Fiber Broadband with Digiweb
1000 Mbps download and 200 Mbps upload speed
I only use wired ethernet with Sky Glass and Sky Stream Pucks
