New February Software Update - freezing & noise issues
I've been upgraded to QS.004.08.OP. I'm still having problems with channels freezing, which include Sky Channels. I've also had programmes running out of picture/sound sync. The software update has failed to fix these issues. Still also having Episodes not being captured on the Playlist that we have been 'recording' for weeks and weeks.
Personally I don't think software updates are going to fix these issues locally. Given NBC only launched the Peacock Platform in July 2021, does anyone have any knowledge of the OTT design they are using and where their Network drives are for Sky? These issues appear to be network fundamental and it appears only time will tell.... can't get any info out of Sky... they just keep trying to resolve issues with software patches and their not working.

Re: New February Software Update - freezing & noise issues
@DGE13 faults with streams are not likely to be fixed by firmware updates on the TV. If you are getting stuttering, sound sync etc check the network speed especially if you are using wifi as interference can cause those type of problems. If you can exclude connection problems as force example you are using an ethernet connection then report the programme issue to viewerR@sky.uk.
Playlist entries are another area that is not caused by firmware issues and again Viewer Relations are the people who need to be told as they can take it up with the broadcaster.
I dont know for certain but given Sky are part of the Comcast group who own Peacock I would expect the European content will be streaming from Sky's own servers.
My own experience of 4.08nis my TV is very stable with minimal issues but it is running on a very good wifii network with ample bandwidth. Easiest way to check wifi speed is to run the Network Check in the Get Help section of the Netflix app.

@DGE13 you are entitled to your opinion of course but my own system is not suffering from the same issues which you would expect if it was a firmware issue. There is no guarantee that even with your system thst thecsignal is not affected by interference but I agree its unlikely. So that leaves the streams which do vary according to source. ITV seems particularly prone to issues.

@Chrisee I'll second the point about the ITV stream. It's very flakey, probably the most unreliable.
