My sky box isnt working looks like its damaged inside where connections goes

Please could someone help me my sky box isnt working in one of my living rooms   and hasnt been for well before Christmas cpuld even be last September i was on the phone a few times trying to get a new update box as i know friends who have got it for free so i dont want to be paying ...also got taking to someone on phone few months back she was very helpful says she would get back to me but she didn't...it was coming up that someone was up with my area whrre i live and she couldn't get a deal for the new box to come up on her systems for me so she was waiting on her boss having a look its should  be all write doen on my account...I'm so anoyed beacuse im.jot wven using my sky tv in about 6 months so im paying all this money could someone contact me please thanks

Nobody will contact you due to you posting on here as this forum doesn't work like that as this is a place where customers help each other.

You say the box isn't working but haven't said what is happening ?

Nothing is working the wire the goes into the back is broke so the box is damaged i side and I wil prpn need an upgrade box this one won't work because its damaged

How do i go about a new upgraded box or contacting them tryed to phone an hours waiting time

The only way to get a NEW box is to upgrade to Sky Q because Sky+ boxes have not been manufactured for over 5 years

From Sky all you will get now is a Sky Q box so if you are happy to upgrade to one then you will need to stay on the line for as long as you can when you call them.

Other than that you are free to purchase a Sky+ box yourself from auctions sites and the like and if you do make sure you select a 890 or 895 model of box as these ones will come or can be updated to the latest software.
