Multiscreen

So there's about 5 international football matches on sky tonight, 4 of them are friendlier and 1 is an important game. I can't believe that a huge multi million pound company like Sky (who frequently tell us that the Sky Q box is the best thing since sliced bread) don't offer a multiscreen option, and I'm not referring to watching one on my telly and one on a tablet etc., I mean my picture being split into quadrants and me being able to view 4 matches simultaneously whilst choosing which one I have commentary for. And not just for football, so sport lovers can watch football, F1, golf and tennis or any combination of sports when they choose to. I know of other services that offer this and it works perfectly. There's no reason why Sky can't do it

It's probably because there is only 1 reassignable tuner available on Sky Q.

HI @Mikewebb

Although I never used it SKY did used to have a single split screen option for some sports (i.e. 2 sports) but it was removed towards the end of last year (although I am not too sure of the timing).

I have no idea of the reasons why but I am not aware of any plans to re-instate it, unfortunately

Surely being able to record 7 things at a time means that this is possible?

Afraid not @Mikewebb

(It's actually record six and watch a seventh)
The Q tuners have fixed allocations for recording multi channels and mini box and tablet use.
